Data Stolen From U.S. Government

When the coffee is warm to accompany us on a sunny morning
and word got out that the back of the cracker to steal important data.
It means we should take care to protect the important data that could be abused by crackers. Due to the fact it is real but could not for punishment.
And the latest news is that crackers have stolen the data stolen from the u.s. Government by the suspect computer hackers including security and permissions information background checks dating back three decades. that includes the scope of one of the largest known cyber attacks on federal networks.

Cyber attacks are among the most widespread theft of information about federal labor, and a U.S. Defense official said it was clearly aimed to get valuable information for the purpose of intelligence.
"It's in. Data back to 1985, "said a u.s. official. "This means that they potentially have information about retirees, and they can know what they are doing after leaving the Government."
Access to computer data from OPM, such as date of birth, social security numbers and bank information, could help hackers to test potential passwords to other sites, including those with information about weapons systems.

Investigators have been hooking violation OPM for a previous theft of personal data from millions of records at Anthem Inc., the second largest U.S. health insurers, and Premera Blue Cross, health care providers.
This is the second computer break-in in less than a year at OPM, federal government personnel, and the latest in a series of cyber attacks on u.s. agencies.
White House spokesman Josh Earnest said, "it is not clear who the perpetrators are," but he noted that President Barack Obama and his aides regularly raise with colleagues about the behavior of their cyber concerns in cyberspace. The U.S. Office of personnel management (OPM) confirms that hackers get into the computer. The breach resulted in the loss of personal information on former employees and four million that could date back as far as 1985.

Might have to get a handle on network security before pointing the finger of blame in another country: audit [PDF] conducted in November last year noted that "OPM does not maintain a comprehensive inventory of servers, databases, and networking devices."
"You can't defend yourself properly if you do not know what system you have and where your data is," Richard Bejtlich biz infosec FireEye, frankly told the Washington Post
The Office of personnel management does not run "adult vulnerability scanning" software, or at least no auditor could find. However, even if it did, who might not have helped: according to the FBI, anyone who infiltrate OPM zero-day flaw exploited to log onto the network.
Cyber break-in was first seen when the Agency was in the midst of updating the IT security systems. The Agency did not say when the attack was believed to have occurred.

The hacking of the White House Office of Personnel Management
Before the cracker penetrate your server, you better soon pacth security server. And don't forget to protect from unwanted access.
So the importance of the data to us, we may also need to keep the website and true true vigilant in protecting websites from hacker attacks.
Boost control admin access on our website is an easy way that applies to all that we do not want it to be attacked by hackers. Installing a Web Application Firewall can be one of the protectors of our website which can be software and hardware also. He drew up the statutes between our website and server data connection, and read every bit of data that pass through. An update should always be done. Since this avoids us from the threat of Hacking.
To remember is to never assume that our website forever safe from hacker attacks.
